Chief flight instructor
Asian Aviation Centre (AAC), is the premier aviation training academy in Sri Lanka. It has a long and successful collaborative partnership with Kingston University, London and offers a multicultural environment conducive for learning. AAC offers academic and professional training programmes from BSc (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering undergraduate degree to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Private & Commercial Flying Training programmes.
AAC Flight Academy, the flying training arm of Asian Aviation Centre (Pvt) Limited is located within the Colombo International Airport, Ratmalana and is the oldest operational flying training school in Sri Lanka.
AAC Flight Academy urgently requires qualified and suitable candidates to fill the post of Chief Flight Instructor (CFI).
General Requirements
- Have extensive experience in training as an instructor for professional pilot licences and associated ratings or certificates
- Possess a current and valid CPL/ IR with Flight Instructor Rating, at least 1,000 hours of Flying Experience as PIC and at least 500 hours of experience as a Flight Instructor, of which 200 hours may be instrument ground time
- Have a safe track record as a pilot andasa Fl
- Have sent at least 5 students on first solo, 5 students on first cross country solo and 3 students on night solo
- Have a minimum ELPC of level 5
- Possess a sound and proven managerial capability
- Have an unblemished character and professional integrity in the previous positions
- Be a good team player with a flexible approach to work
